Dalek is an American-born contemporary artist who is quite well-known in Japan after being Takashi Murakami’s assistant in 2001. He just updated his website with a few new paintings, they’re quite aesthetically pleasing with nice bold colours to stand out. He uses highly intricate shapes and patterns throughout his works, almost as if he is trying to create an illusion. Check out more of his work here.
